Where are sessions located?
I offer sessions online for people in California.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR]
EMDR services may be incorporated into therapy when clinically appropriate to support the processing of trauma, distressing experiences, and deeply rooted emotional patterns. My approach to EMDR is integrated with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and relational work to help support nervous system regulation and lasting change.
Do you offer Hakomi therapy?
My work is informed by the Hakomi Method, a mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy that emphasizes present-moment experience, nonviolence, and relational attunement. Sessions are not formulaic, but draw from this training as part of an integrative approach.
What is your session fee?
I offer a sliding scale of $145–$175 for a 50 minute session. Additionally, if you’d like to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for reimbursement.
Do you take insurance?
No. I currently do not take insurance.
How often and for how long do you see clients?
I typically see clients once a week. In times of crisis or heightened need, twice-weekly sessions may be recommended for a short period, usually one to two months, to provide additional support.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) sessions are done in a once a week format, or intensive format (depending on availability).
Most clients work with me for several months to allow meaningful progress, with the total investment varying based on session frequency and duration.
The length of time spent in therapy is individualized. Sometimes people come for a couple months and others find long term therapy to be beneficial.
What can I expect?
In our first sessions, we will explore what brings you to therapy and clarify the goals you’d like support with. Together, we may co-create stepping-stone goals to guide your growth.
I work with non-violent, depth-oriented principles, which means we may move slowly or carefully explore challenging areas to ensure you feel safe. Sessions can include:

Mindfulness and body awareness to notice sensations or movements

Imaginative or reflective exercises to explore the psyche
Healing is not always linear — some sessions may feel more challenging before progress occurs. We will also discuss ways to stay resourced and regulated between sessions.
